Storefront stucco repair & exterior painting
Exterior restoration of a mixed-use building on the Upper West Side: stucco and mortar repairs, flexible crack sealing, a new second-floor windowsill to stop water intrusion, and a primer plus two-coat paint finish.

A façade that keeps the water out.
Work included: Pressure washing · Stucco & mortar repair · Crack sealing · Window sealing · New windowsill · Exterior painting.
The result is a clean, sealed storefront and entrance, with the second-floor sill rebuilt so water no longer finds a way in.
Scope of work
- Pressure wash all surfaces before beginning repairs
- Scrape and remove all loose or deteriorated mortar
- Apply new cement mortar to repair damaged areas
- Grind out existing cracks and repair with a suitable flexible sealant rather than cement
- Apply exterior sealant around all doors and windows
- Install a second-floor windowsill to help prevent water from entering behind the stucco
- Apply primer and two coats of exterior paint to the repaired surfaces
