Do you handle NYC permits?
Yes, when a job needs them. We check what the Department of Buildings requires for your project, handle the filing and schedule the inspections through to sign-off.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. We visit, look at the job and send you a written estimate at no cost and with no obligation.
How can I pay?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Ask us about payment when we visit for your free estimate.
What warranty do you provide?
Every job comes with a written warranty. What it covers for your project is written down before work starts, so there are no surprises later.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on the size of the job, any permits it needs and the weather. We walk you through the timeline for your project before work starts and keep you updated as it goes.

Contact usHow do I know if I need a repair or a full roof replacement?
We inspect the roof, flashing and decking and show you photos of what we found. If the problem is local, we repair it; if the roof is near the end of its life, we'll explain why replacing it makes more sense.
Do you work on flat roofs on row houses and walk-ups?
Yes. SBS torch-down roofs, bulkheads and skylights on row houses and multi-story walk-ups are a regular part of our roofing work.
Do I need a permit for a new roof in NYC?
It depends on the scope of the work and the building. We check what the Department of Buildings requires for your roof before work starts and handle any filing that is needed.
Can you rebuild or reline my chimney?
Yes. We rebuild chimneys from the roofline up or in full, and install new liners sized for the fireplace, boiler or furnace the flue serves.
Do you repair stucco and brick façades?
Yes. We repair cracked stucco and damaged brick, repoint the mortar joints and finish with a waterproof coating where the wall needs it.

Yes. Every job comes with a written warranty, so you know what is covered before the work starts.
How long is your warranty?
It depends on the type of work. The terms for your job are in your written warranty, and we go through them with you before work starts.
What does the warranty cover?
Our workmanship on the job we did for you; the written warranty lists exactly what is covered for your project. Materials also carry their manufacturer's own warranty.
