One-story to two-story transformation
Castleton Corners, Staten Island
We turned a one-story house into a two-story brick home — a complete new second floor, a multi-gable roof, a coordinated brick façade with arched windows and a tall columned entrance.

Project overview
This project started as a one-story house. We removed the original roof, built a complete second floor and finished the exterior so both levels read as one design: a pitched shingle roof with multiple gables, brickwork across the expanded front façade, new rectangular and arched windows, and a tall covered entrance with decorative double doors.
The result is a larger home with a coordinated brick façade, a new roof, upgraded windows and an entrance that stands out on the block.

In their words
A one-story house became a two-story brick home. Here is how the homeowner describes the result.
“We went from a small one-story house to a two-story brick home we love. The arched windows, the gables and the new entrance came out even better than the drawings, and the crew kept us updated at every stage.”
